Overused words

• Do you think civilization is threatened by this particular use of this word?
  
  I don't think so, this word is no big deal.

• What words or phrases do you overuse when you speak?
  
  There are some of them, for example, "well", "you know" and "just". I have recently noticed that these words are often used in my speech. I don't like this fact, as I'm sure such words ruin our speech. 

•  What words or phrases do you hear others use that you wish would just go away?
  
  I wish such words as "well", "so", "ok" and "yeap" would be used less often. They impede the full enjoyment of the perception of human speech.
• Why do you think these words are overused, unnecessary or just plain annoying?
  
  In most cases, these words are used due to the scarcity of the vocabulary. Less commonly, they are used to pause, to think over a question, to formulate an answer, so to speak to “buy time”.
• What’s your opinion about the overuse of the word “Really?”
  
  Frankly speaking, I have no qualms about "Really". I'll agree with Jerry Seinfeld that it's rather interesting word to use.
